Locket Necklace With A Photo Inside
This month we’ve launched a brand new item, a Locket Necklace with A Photo Inside. Previously, we have offered to shrink customer’s photographs down to multiple different sizes and they can cut out whichever size they need for their lockets. This has been one of our most popular products, because it allows people to choose whichever size photograph they want, depending on what size the locket they’re using is. Sometimes, customers have contacted Felim or I to ask if we sell a locket necklace with a photo . Up until now, we haven’t, which brings us to why we’re launching this new product.
Introducing our locket necklace with a picture , coming in two different shapes, heart or circular filigree. The locket itself is made with a silver tone to match the necklace that comes with it, either 18 or 24 inch chain. You send us your photograph and we shrink it down and cut it out to place it inside the locket so when you receive and open it, it’s all there inside. All you have to do is wear it! Simple! Like most of our lockets, this one comes in a jewellery organza bag when we ship it out to you. The locket is not waterproof however and therefore should be kept away from getting wet.
This kind of product has been on our radar for a while now. A few months ago, I got an email from a man who asked us if we could provide him with a locket that had his photograph inside. I explained to him that we did make custom lockets and directed him to our website pages with the products so he could see for himself. Between the Print Your Own Small Photos For Your Locket and the personalised necklaces, the man asked if we had a heart-shaped locket without a glass cover on the front. He said he just needed a simple locket you could open and slip the photograph into. I said we didn’t offer that specific kind of locket, but the thought stayed with me, and I started to look into it to see if we could offer something like this in the future.
One of our most popular products is the personalised necklaces with a photo inside, mostly because of the silver tone to them along with the chain, which has an aesthetic appeal, especially when you wear it around your neck. The heart shaped ones are often quite attractive to customers and plenty have emailed and called me to say they love the way it looks once they receive it in the post.
Naturally, I started to think about how the heart shape lockets always do well for us and spoke to Felim about maybe expanding our roster of products. After doing some research, we arrived at the silver-tone lockets with a chain, deciding that it might catch people’s eye and be appealing. Maybe it’s the magpie in me, but I’ve always loved shiny lockets with pictures like this and I think (I hope) that more people do too.
